Innovative events: product launches, innovation and firm performance

چکیده
In this paper, we shed new light on the links between firm-level innovation and growth. We introduce data that capture a difficult-to-observe aspect of firms' innovative activity – product/service launches at scale. show our novel measures complement existing metrics. build simple framework covering innovation, revenue productivity. Then, positive linkages past patenting performance for large panel small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in UK. go to explore roles age, size, industry quality these relationships. A subset SMEs with high-quality explains results.
